BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 — Limited Tire Warranty
Materials & Workmanship:
Eligible tires are covered for manufacturing defects through the life of the original usable tread or six years from purchase, whichever comes first. Usable tread ends at 2/32" (1.6 mm). If the invoice is unavailable, BFGoodrich uses the tire's manufacture date.
Replacement Coverage:
For an approved defect within 12 months of purchase, with no more than 2/32" of tread wear (or 25% of original tread, whichever is more beneficial), BFGoodrich provides a comparable replacement with mounting and balancing. Other service charges and taxes remain payable. Later eligible claims are prorated based on tread used; mounting, balancing, other charges and taxes are payable.
Treadwear Coverage:
No mileage figure is stated here for this model. Any applicable model- and size-specific coverage is determined by BFGoodrich; commercial-use and DOT-approved competition tires do not qualify for treadwear coverage under the supplied manual. Approved treadwear claims are prorated. Different front and rear tire sizes that prevent the recommended rotation reduce rear-tire mileage coverage by half.
Maintenance & Claims:
Keep the original invoice and completed installation, rotation and inspection records. Rotate and inspect every 10,000–12,000 km or at the vehicle manufacturer's shorter interval. Claims require inspection through a participating BFGoodrich tire retailer. Coverage applies to the original purchaser under the manufacturer's terms.
Key Exclusions:
Road hazards, punctures, impact damage, misuse, incorrect inflation, overloading, improper mounting or repairs, vehicle or alignment problems, accidents, racing and alterations are excluded. Manufacturer conditions and exclusions apply.
