Description
Improve traction on your 2017-2027 Ford F250 / F350 Super Duty 4WD (with 3.5-4 inch diameter axle) without limiting wheel travel with a BDS Recoil Traction Bar Mounting Kit, made with heavy wall construction and internal compression springs that can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. Full float design for bind-free performance and can be installed with a range of lift heights.
Fabricated from 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC-machined end at the frame. Axle mount uses BDS's ultra-durable large-forged flex end and jam nut. Using a forged housing with large 1-1/4-nch x 12 threaded shank, a single sided snap ring and 1-piece flex ball, the flex ends are capable of up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end the bar uses a durometer specific polyurethane bushing and free floats in the traction bar utilizing a pair of dual stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings.

Warranty
BDS warranty coverage is for the original retail purchaser with proof of purchase. BDS hard parts and bushings have lifetime replacement coverage; finish and normal wear are excluded.
BDS NX2 and BDS/FOX Performance Series shocks have limited lifetime coverage excluding normal wear and oil seals. At BDS’s discretion, qualifying leaking seals less than two years old may be considered for repair or replacement.
FOX proprietary shocks and coilovers follow FOX warranty terms rather than the BDS warranty. Qualifying leaking seals less than one year old may be considered; other FOX concerns follow the FOX service process.
Properly maintained ball joints and tie-rod ends less than three years old may qualify, subject to the manufacturer’s conditions.
Remedies are repair or replacement at BDS’s discretion. Eligible warranty ground shipping is covered; removal, installation, expedited freight and consequential costs are excluded.
